If you want to take payment online for your product or service, you will require some form of e-commerce.

At the minimum you will need to integrate with an secure online processing system, such as protx, secpay or worldpay.

For a larger site, or if you have a range of products, you may require an online shop, including a shopping cart, product catalogue and order processing system. osCommerce is an open source online shop which is free to download. This can be installed on your website and then customised to produce the shop you require.
